Charger wrestling season begins at East Union on Thursday

The ACGC boys wrestling team will have its first competition of the season this Thursday, Dec. 4 at East Union for a quadrangular meet. The Chargers will face off against East Union, West Central Valley and Nodaway Valley.

No. 8 ACGC girls basketball faces West Central Valley tonight

The No. 8 ACGC girls basketball (1-0) team hosts West Central Valley (0-1) on Tuesday, Dec. 2. ACGC is already off to a hot start with a victory over IKM-Manning, while West Central Valley fell to Creston by one point. ACGC has dominated this competition in recent history, winning the last six games in a row. This includes both games last season, when the Chargers won 48-27 and 48-30. 

ACGC boys basketball tips season off against West Central Valley tonight

The ACGC boys basketball team hits the hardwood for the first time this season at home against West Central Valley on Tuesday, Dec. 2. ACGC has had the upper hand on the Wildcats for some time. The Chargers have not lost a game to WCV since 2018, winning the last 16 in a row. This includes last season’s blowout wins of 82-57 and 79-39.

Panorama girls wrestling to compete at Manson Girls Invitational on Monday

The Panorama girls wrestling team competes at the 2025 Manson Girls Invitational on Monday, Dec. 1. Other teams at the competition are Eagle Grove, East Sac County, Emmetsburg, GTRA, Manson-NW Webster, Ogden, Pocahontas Area, Sioux Central, South Central Calhoun, West Bend-Mallard and West Central Valley.

Panorama boys team hosts Woodward-Granger on Tuesday to start season

The Panorama boys basketball team will get its first taste of regular season again on Tuesday, Dec. 2 against Woodward-Granger. On Nov. 21, the Panthers won a scrimmage against Greene County, 79-46. Panorama hosts another scrimmage tonight, Nov. 28, against Audubon. Against W-G, Panorama leads the series since 2009, 20-12, and split last season’s series, winning the first game 47-38 and dropping the second 77-35.
