On Friday, May 31, the Panorama baseball team (2-6) picked up its second win of the season thanks to some late heroics away from home against Woodward-Granger (2-6). Panorama took the lead in the top of the fifth inning to go up 4-1, only to give up six runs in the bottom half of the inning. The Panthers responded with a seven-run inning in the top of the sixth to regain the lead and eventually win. A big part of the win can be credited to second baseman Braylon Dawes. In five at-bats, the senior hit six singles, stole two bases and scored three runs. Two runs came from Trey Boettcher and Brayden Meinecke. Parker Cary, Brayden Galvan, Mason Carstens and Laytyn Ashworth each scored once. Braylon and Bryce Dawes split time on the mound. Braylon was credited the win in his two innings pitched.
